Feature Overview:

>> Tenant Certifications and MINC Actions

The following list is certification/MINC actions that will be supported in Tenmast Software’s release of the Rural Development software function:

Initial Certification
Recertification
Modify Certification
Co-Tenant to Tenant
Assign/Remove Rental Assistance
Vacate a Unit
Tenant Transfer
Undo Action

>> Non-Revenue Producing Unit

WinTen2+ will support the ability to mark a unit as a non-revenue producing unit on the certification, ensuring that MINC submissions are not created for that unit.

>> MINC Submissions

WinTen2+ will generate MINC submissions files for all supported certifications listed above. A MINC submissions tab on the Household screen will also be available for managing MINC submissions.

RD Release Notes:

Rural Development functionality will be released in WinTen2+ on 10/21
Job aids on all major new processes will be available on 10/21.
Training videos and assessments will be available in Tenmast University by the end of October. Once the videos are ready, you will receive another email notification letting you know they are available for viewing in TU.

>> Multi-Subsidy Support

3rd Party Rental Assistance

For the scenario when a 3rd party provides rental assistance for a unit, the Certification screen will allow the user to split the monthly rent burden (NTC) between the tenant and a 3rd party provider.

>> Multi Unit-Based Certs

When finalizing multiple unit-based certifications for a tenant, the last finalized certification will update Tenant Accounts Receivables with the new tenant rent. If the last finalized certification changes the tenant rent, then a message displays for the user to see and confirm the change.
